This year’s Southern Territorial Commissioning and Ordination weekend has a call to action: RISE UP! After a period of great challenge, the Territory is being called together to celebrate our newly Commissioned Officers and celebrate with Music and Arts. The Evangeline Booth College & THQ Music and Creative Arts Education Department have put together wonderful awakening weekend events that will be inspirational for all in attendance. This includes uplifting worship services, spirited music, soul stirring Arts, and educational breakout sessions. Our special guests for the weekend will be OF Bandmaster William Himes and Linda Himes.

Don’t miss this Amazing Worship Arts Experience held in Atlanta, June 3-5, 2022.

On Saturday, June 4th at the Commissioning event, the Music and Arts Department is providing some helpful breakout sessions for all attendees. These are mainly focused on getting things going at the local corps. They include Starting a singing group at your corps, building and developing a corps band, making worship music multigenerational, using new applied theater techniques to reach more people, planning a ‘golden hour’ of worship on Sunday, digging deeper into God’s word, and innovative evangelistic techniques to grow your corps. These opportunities will be available on Saturday at 11 AM & 2 PM. You will be able to select your desired break session(s) on the registration site.

Mileage grants are available for all officers/soldiers (age 7 and up) whose expenses are not being covered by THQ.

This year we are asking everyone to register so those seeking financial help for travel expenses can be identified and receive the appropriate reimbursement. Delegates should register from their own email address. However, families can register together. All delegates, regardless of age, must be registered with their corps or ARC unit selected. DHQ and Area Command officers can register as DHQ or Area Command. If you are registering additional attendees, please add their names before you submit your registration. To make adjustments once submitted, please use the contact information above. CHILDCARE WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR ANY SESSION. UNIFORM FOR THE WEEKEND: Tunics are required only for the two Sunday meetings. Pants are appropriate for women for all meetings. Shop Trade South	No fees.	IMPORTANT DEADLINE: Tuesday, May 3rd 2022 is the LAST DAY to book your hotels at The Salvation Army rate. After this date the reserved blocks of rooms will be released.
